DESCRIPTION:Effective cleaning is the foundation of safe and compliant medical device reprocessing. This webinar explores the critical role of detergents and cleaning agents in removing organic and inorganic contaminants\, selecting the appropriate products for different device types\, and optimizing cleaning processes to support disinfection and sterilization outcomes. Participants will gain practical insights into best practices\, standards\, and common challenges to help ensure patient safety and device longevity. \nPresented by Cheri Ackert-Burr\, DNP\, RN\, CNOR\, CNS\, AGTS. \nRegister\n  \nPlease note the following: \n\nCertifications will be provided per meeting the qualifications.\nCertifications follow industry standards and require to be present for the entire educational seminar and the completion of the evaluation form.\nIf you are logging in as a group\, please have your nurse manager fill the group attendance form after the seminar.\n\nWe work with Educational Dimensions\, an approved provider of continuing nursing education. Without any additional credentialing\, the CNE contact hour would apply toward re-licensure for RNs. Other specialties\, such as techs\, MAs and PAs may be able to use the contact hours toward their recertification\, however\, it is up to the participant to ensure acceptance from their respective boards.
