TORVAN MEDICAL’S AutoSink is our latest innovation in the cleaning of flexible endocopes. With little more than selecting the appropriate command on the integrated touch screen, this revolutionary cleaning system will automatically soak, individually flush each channel, purge, and then rinse and complete a final purge of all channels. All compatible flexible endoscopes can be pre-programmed with specific cycles that precisely follow the scope manufacturer’s IFU. Applicable cleaning procedures are performed consistently and recorded on the touchscreen, helping your facility optimize reprocessing workflows. Cleaning times are reduced, while outcomes are improved and standardized. Tech time at the sink is reduced by more than 50%, allowing your reprocessing technicians free to manage other tasks.
Every Torvan AutoSink is designed and built with user comfort and safety in mind. Ergonomic features such as electromechanical height-adjustment reduce neck and back strain, while wrist-friendly edges minimize pressure points and wrist fatigue. Marine edges and bottom-fill basins reduce splashing and overflow. The intuitive user interface enables ease of operation with less risk of user error.

Advanced Monitoring
The AutoSink’s advanced monitoring system tracks the temperature, concentration and flow rate of detergent solution throughout the cleaning cycle. The Torvan Medical AutoSink primes and monitors each lumen separately, and then confirms that the correct volume of detergent is delivered, ensuring that each channel receives the amount of detergent as specified by a scope manufacturer’s IFU and allows for the recommended contact time designated for optimal effectiveness of the detergent.
The AutoSink’s internal tracking system also logs the amount of detergent delivered to every lumen during the cycle for future verification.
Touchscreen Interface
The Torvan Medical AutoSink allows users to run a full cleaning protocol following the direction and inputs on the touchscreen.
Once configured, the user need only scan or enter a scope’s ID and the AutoSink immediately gets to work. The intuitive touchscreen UI shows the progress of each stage as it occurs and prompts the user to perform manual operations as necessary. The AutoSink comes pre-programmed with the manufacturer’s IFU for a wide variety of flexible endoscopes, and can also be customized to suit your specific needs. This helps ensure that every endoscope in your inventory is consistently cleaned according to IFU requirements.
